We are excited to announce several significant updates to the Quiz and Test system on the Friendina College Student Portal as well as our website. These enhancements are designed to improve your user experience, streamline the assessment process, and ensure a more effective learning environment. Here are the key changes:
- Improved Navigation: A more intuitive layout that makes it easier to find and access quizzes and tests.
- Timed Assessments: Our Executive Trainers & Coaches can now set specific time limits for each quiz and test, helping you and all our other students manage their time effectively.
- Anti-Cheating Measures: New tools have been implemented to detect and prevent cheating, ensuring the integrity of the assessment process.
- Flexible Question Formats: In addition to multiple-choice and true/false questions, the system now supports short answer, essay, and interactive question types.
- Screen Reader Compatibility: The system is now fully compatible with screen readers, making it accessible to visually impaired students.
- Adjustable Font Sizes: Users can adjust the font size within quizzes and tests for better readability.
- Mobile-Friendly Design: The updated system is optimized for mobile devices, allowing you to complete assessments on the go.
- Automatic Grading: Multiple-choice and true/false questions are automatically graded, providing immediate feedback. The quizzes and tests have now been limited only to The Placement Test, Evaluation Tests for all 4 levels, the Mid-Term Test as well as the Final Test; and everything else has been removed.
- Detailed Analytics: Students and Instructors will have access to enhanced analytics, offering deeper insights into performance and progress.
- Secure Login: Enhanced security protocols for accessing the quiz and test system to protect student data.
- Randomized Questions: Teachers can create question banks from which questions are randomly selected, ensuring a unique test experience for each student.
The new system has been available for testing starting since April 4, 2024, and the reports have been greater than expected. The updated system is now live as of today, on May 28, 2024. All quizzes and tests from this date forward will utilize the new system. To help you transition smoothly to the new system, we will be offering:
- Coaching Sessions: Live training and coaching sessions for students and staff will be held on regular and previously agreed days and time.
- User Guides and Tutorials: Comprehensive guides and video tutorials will be made available on our YouTube channel in the coming days.
