We send our congratulations to our friends and partners, but also the people of Namibia at large, for the November 27, 2024 elections that were peaceful and led to electing the country’s first female president, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. Her historic election is a significant milestone in the struggle for gender equality in the highest positions of power.
